Revamp boring office and craft desk with art from the Ming dynasty. Simply add a sheet of glass to protect and cover desk and insert favourite pieces between desk and glass. Here – I used an old Buddhist calendar pages. I've included shots of each page for I love the artwork in this post for the art. Some of these guys would make amazing tattoos. I also used an old runner from Egypt was used as a super large mouse keyboard matt, loving it. I use bar stools for a better back when working, however good old leather Ottomans work a treat for extra storage and seating. Top with bright pillows, which just add to the Boheme feel. 1 large sheet of super thick bevelled glass Old arty calendar Long table runner Levers- Thin metal rulers/flathead screwdrivers |

| ... Storage Ottomans cushioned to save space (storage and chairs in one) watch out for pets’ Mine tends to come out of hiding whenever projects are started. Start by cutting out the large calendar prints before arranging on table top with a little blue tac to place. Cover with the sheet of glass (This one was around 35kgs - The heavier and the thicker - the better) Word of caution - you may need help and make sure the glass is bevelled. Add runner to an end and lay out your keyboard/mouse etc. PS: thin metal rulers and flat head screw drivers are handy for leverage in glass adjustment/placement |
